Amara Aid
Amara Aid is a Christian charity based in Northern Ireland that provides small grants for medical, educational and agricultural projects in poor communities in Tanzania. Amara Aid is managed by a group of volunteers allowing ALL donations to go directly to the projects.
Our Mission
Our Motto is “Christian Support for Development Projects Abroad” and we seek to support the most vulnerable people in poor communities of Tanzania
What does AMARA mean?
The word “AMARA” means ‘Aid or Assistance’ in the Swahili language
Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord,
and he will reward them for what they have done.
